Sometimes, when Linda visits a home for an animal communication session, the first creature to speak with her is a spirit living within the house! It makes sense. Up until recent decades, it was traditional for people to be born at home... and to die at home... within the loving network of one's loved ones.

Occasionally a spirit doesn't quite disconnect from the environment it was accustomed to... becoming a "ghost" or resident spirit of a home. Present-day householders may be unaware of the house spirit - beyond a door that mysteriously opens or shuts, or the sound of a rocking chair in the next room. When Linda makes house calls to work with family pets, sometimes a resident spirit pops up to introduce itself - radically changing the nature of the session!

When Linda speaks with a departed spirit, they give each other information. Spirits tell Linda about themselves - who they were, when they lived, important facets of their lives, and why they remain between worlds. Other times the spirit has already crossed over to the other side and then chooses to come back and live in the house for other reasons. Linda can also ask what their purpose is for coming back to the site of the life - or death. Linda helps the spirits find peace and move on.

Linda S. Wahlund's gift for speaking with the departed is especially comforting to people that have lost someone. Sometimes after a much-loved human or animal has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, the need for closure remains... unexpressed love, concern, grief, regret, or even guilt... can be effectively communicated and resolved.

Whether the Dear Departed is a human, a dog, horse or cat, whether the Dear Departed passed just recently, or many years ago, Linda can make a connection with them. She will facilitate a three-way conversation between the living and the departed.

As humans, we are limited with our understanding of the ease of leaving the physical body. With our personal reservations and our grief at losing our Dear Departed, we can inadvertently hold them back from their next life cycle... When Linda is there to convey the love, all things become easier. Talking about regrets and resolving guilt can help free up the relationship to a higher level.

Even after the fact of a beloved pet passing, Linda can come over to talk with the pet in spirit. (this takes place on-line or by phone, too) Spending time looking at pictures, asking what the client/pet agreement in this lifetime was about, discussing the pet's attachment to the other members of the household.

At times, passed on relatives come in for the session and Linda talk with them also. Knowing that the pet has a loved relative waiting for them can be comforting. All these things and more can help the client have closure and work through their grief. Sometimes the pet will take on their sadness while in spirit and we can cleanse that also, enabling the pet to move on to their next adventure.
