What is Reiki?
A wonderfully gentle healing modality, Reiki is a method of light touch which balances the Ki (energy) of the body to facilitate healing on all levels. Reiki can never do harm, and often does great good. It is suitable for all people and animals of all ages.
How is it done?
The art of laying hands on the human or animal body to comfort and relieve pain is as old as instinct.
The session can be done with the client seated, standing or lying down, with the client fully clothed. An absentee (distance Reiki) session can also be given by the practitioner to the client at a pre-arranged time and place.
What are Reiki's benefits?
Reiki heals on an emotional and physical level. It soothes sore muscles, relieving stress, tension and fear through releasing cellular memory. Reiki strengthens and supports the body's built-in healing abilities - a valuable tool for preventative health care.It supports and enhances other traditional medical practices.

Regular Reiki treatments will change the client's energy system with vital energy and enhance detoxification. Change will occur at a mental, physical and emotional level. A more positive attitude will be present and a sense of optimism will be generated with successive sessions.

Reiki benefits animals in the same way as humans. It can break negative cycles and enhances the bond with our pets.
This energy-based healing is revitalizing for animals that are ill. Reiki is wonderful for reassuring animals that are in pain and have been abused in the past, and are now afraid to trust people.
